We are a community that is recognised in Belgium and in the world as a leading authority in the pragmatic and practical application of service management and governance principles.

We strive to be a driving force in helping all types of organisations leverage service management and related practices enabling them to provide excellent customer experience.

What we do

What we do

Members are encouraged to actively participate and interact with fellow members. The more members contribute, the more they will get out of it and the higher the value to their employer and customers will be.

itSMF Belgium approaches service management in a holistic way, not only looking beyond the traditional boundaries of IT service management – venturing into areas such as soft skills, project management and leadership – but also reaching out to service providing industries beyond IT where we believe we can make a positive contribution with the expertise and knowledge built up in the IT service management field.

We want to involve service management professionals, decision makers and vendors but also consumers of services – the business – to jointly look for ways to make service delivery and consumption a genuine success.

We are serious about our goals but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Since we are a group of volunteers, the fun factor is important in all that we do and we hope that our enthusiasm transpires in the activities that we organise.

itSMF is a non-profit organisation, by its members and for its members. We expect members to share information and expertise, not to sell products or services except during specific and clearly identified vendor events. The member and sponsor contributions are used entirely for the operation and activities of the organisation.

It is run by its members, for its members. itSMF is the only internationally recognised, independent organisation dedicated to IT Service Management. It is a major influencer on, and contributor to industry best practice and standards worldwide.
